A round dry brush with natural, plastic-free bristles. The low-effort kind of self-care that actually fits into a real morning.

Dry brushing is an old ritual for a reason. Long, light strokes toward the heart are traditionally used to encourage circulation and support lymphatic flow. Your lymph doesn't have a pump of its own, so gentle, rhythmic movement is a simple way to give it a nudge. Skin feels invigorated and awake afterward, and the bristles buff away rough, dull patches so your body oil or butter absorbs better.

We picked natural bristles on purpose. Many other dry brushes are synthetic, which means microplastic shedding on skin you're trying to keep clean in the first place. Natural bristles skip that trade-off entirely.

How to use: Start with dry skin before a shower. Hold the brush in your palm and brush from feet up to shoulders in long strokes toward the heart, using lighter pressure on sensitive areas. Two or three times a week is plenty. Skip any broken or irritated skin.

A little rope tie on the handle lets you hang it on a hook or peg. It's for storage, not for wrapping around your fingers while you brush.

Care: Shake out after each use and hang it so it can air dry with good airflow. Every couple of weeks, wipe the bristle tips with a barely damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then let it dry completely. Skip soaking.

Materials & care

Natural boar hair bristles, a bamboo handle, and a cotton rope hanging tie - plastic-free from end to end. The bristles are firm enough to exfoliate without being harsh. Shake it out after each use and let it air dry somewhere open. Rinse the bristles once in a while, not after every use. Giving them room to fully dry is what keeps them from breaking down.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: The shipping rate is calculated at checkout. Shipping is free on orders of $150 or more. Orders leave our shop in 1 to 3 business days.

Returns: You can return most items within 14 days for an exchange or store credit. You pay return shipping unless the item arrives with a defect. Sale items marked "First collection. Final sale." cannot be returned.

Why it costs what it does

We pay makers and mills fairly for quality natural materials and sew in small batches instead of mass-producing overseas. That costs more up front, and it's why this piece is built to outlast a season instead of a wash cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the proper dry brushing technique?

Use long, gentle strokes that always move toward your heart: start at your feet and work up your legs, then brush from your hands up your arms. Light to medium pressure is enough, more like a firm massage than a scrub.

How often should I dry brush?

Two or three times a week is plenty. Brushing daily can irritate skin without adding any extra benefit.

What are the actual benefits of dry brushing?

It buffs away rough, flaky skin and wakes up circulation, leaving skin smoother right after use. Think of it as a nice-feeling addition to a routine, not a cure for anything: there is no real evidence behind bigger claims like cellulite reduction or detoxing.

Should I use it before or after showering?

Before, on completely dry skin, ideally right before you shower so you can rinse away the buffed-off skin afterward.

What's it made of, and how do I clean it?

Natural boar hair bristles set in a bamboo handle with a cotton rope tie for hanging - no plastic anywhere on the brush. Boar bristles have a natural taper and texture that's firm enough to exfoliate without being harsh, and they hold their shape far better over time than synthetic fill. Rinse it after each use and let it air dry somewhere open so the bristles hold up.
