Sizing is one of the least glamorous parts of clothing design and one of the easiest to get wrong by chasing trend cycles instead of actual bodies.
We cut with room to move, to bend over a garden bed, chase a toddler, or sit through a long dinner without pulling at a seam. That sometimes means our fit reads as more relaxed than closer-cut alternatives, which is intentional. Clothes for everyday life should move with you, not perform for a photo.
We also test fit across a range of real bodies before finalizing a pattern, not just a single sample size, and we update our size charts when we learn a cut is running differently than intended rather than leaving it inconsistent.
If you're between sizes or unsure how a specific piece fits, reach out before you order, we'd rather answer a sizing question upfront than handle a return afterward.
For help choosing the right size, see our Sizing Guide.
